Motorola Opus One and Backflip details leaked

The specifications for two of Motorola’s upcoming Android phones for next year have found their way onto the Internet.

The Motorola Opus One will have, according to the site with its ear to the ground Boy Genius Report, a 3.1 inch capacitive touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera, bluetooth and wi-fi, running Android 1.5.

The Opus One also sounds a bit like a Dan Brown inspired phone, so perhaps it will limit you to really, really short texts which make the receiver want to read the next one immediately.

Phandroid got the scoop on the Motorola Backflip, which is a bit juicier. It has a 3.1 inch touchscreen on one side, and a keyboard on the reverse of the unit.

The clever and acrobatic bit is that the touchscreen flips over, so it sits above the keyboard like a little computer, which is sure to please gadget fans.

It will also run Android 1.5, with wi-fi support, GPS and a beefier 5 megapixel camera.

These monikers are the current US codenames, and will no doubt change when the phone comes over this way.
