Panasonic plasma factory developed for 3D HDTV

by David Allen

The electronics giant Panasonic has completed the development of its brand new factory in Amagasaki, Japan.

This is now the company’s largest plant dedicated to the production of plasma screen technology.

With new European laws governing the power output of the televisions, it can only be supposed that the products coming out of the factory will be greener than before.

But what is interesting is that although the factory is dedicated to plasma screen production, ranging from 50” to 150” displays, this technology is the same as that needed to produce 3D HDTV capable televisions and as such will put Panasonic right up there, ready to knock 3D Televisions out with little need for adjustments in the production process.

When fully operational, the plant will be able to produce around one million 50” plasma screen TVs.
