Apple is all set to snaffle up mobile advertising firm Quattro Wireless.
The move shadows Google’s purchase of rival mobile ad wizards AdMob, which Apple was also rumoured to be interested in.
According to All Things Digital, which obtained the scoop on the deal, the asking price is set at $275 million.
A hefty sum, but still considerably less than Google stumped up for AdMob – $750 million.
All Things Digital’s sources claim that there could be an official announcement as soon as tomorrow.
