One day getting HDTV on other TV sets around the home will not involve the masses of wire and drilling of holes that it does now.
Thanks to a UK-based company, ProVision, the days of spaghetti junction around the TV and set top boxes could soon disappear, through a new technology known as AXAR.
This product is about to be launched at the CES 2010 Show in Las Vegas and could be widely available by the end of the year.
It is believed that the product will be added to new televisions and set top boxes.
The company has confirmed that it has already been working with ITV, Pace, Thompson, Toshiba and Sky, but it is not clear if these firms will be taking on this technology as of yet.
