A number of key figures in the gaming world have been included in this year’s honours list by the Queen.
The creators of the famous Championship Manager simulation, Oliver and Paul Collyer (who now work on Football Manager), were awarded MBEs.
Honours were also given out to Rodney Cousens, the CEO of Codemasters who received a CBE, and Paul Jackson of ELSPA, who got an OBE.
Surely it’s only a matter of time before a video game character receives the call from the Queen. Arise, Dame Lara Croft.
