One of the best ways to get digital TV is through satellite as this service can be accessed almost anywhere in the UK.
But occasionally nature has a hand in interfering with the signal received by satellite users as is the case in one particular road in Bolton.
In this case the problem is trees; thirty three of them in fact have been targeted for the chop.
This has upset the other residents of Gilnow Road, who have set up a page on the social networking site Facebook in protest to the cutting down of the trees.
The local council was considering cutting down the trees, but it seems that due to the protesters they may have to reconsider this action.
Apparently there are images of the trees in photos from the 1940s.
It is going to be a battle of new technology verses nature and the consultation period ends tomorrow.
