BBC content leaves viewers disappointed

Viewers of BBC content are being left disappointed by the programming being offered by the broadcaster, according to a senior BBC Trust member speaking at a meeting last month.

It seems that the BBC Trust is concerned at the current trend in feedback from viewers.

This comes from the latest BBC Trust review of all the channels from one to four.

The trend shows that viewers are becoming aware that the BBC has a lack of variety.

One of the main concerns is the way that the BBC keeps bringing back old favourites, but repackaging them as something new.

The viewers are not stupid and soon realise what is going on and they feel let down.

Some programme producers are calling for more funds to be released from BBC Worldwide to enable the creation of new programming.
