Avatar goes to FX

With all the announcements at the CES 2010 in Las Vegas regarding 3D HDTV technology, it has been easy to forget the biggest and most expensive film ever made, Avatar.

This film, made in 3D, will be coming to the small screen within two years, which means an opportunity for the broadcasters to create a serious 3D event around the premiere of the film on TV.

In the US the cable TV rights have gone to FX and whether the channel will be showing the film in 3D will not become apparent until the time draws closer.

The main question is, where will Avatar premiere in the UK?

The wait is on, but considering that the film was produced by Fox, Sky TV has to be the favourite.
