3D pay day for Celebs

It seems that Fox and James Cameron are not the only members of the film industry to be cashing in on the success of the 3D film Avatar.

In fact it seems that quite a few of the UK’s famous names will be reaping their rewards for investing around £50 million into the project via the film fund run by Ingenious Media.

The famous, yet shy, celebrity investors in the fund range from the likes of Wayne Rooney and Andrew Flintoff, to musicians and TV presenters, and no fund would be complete without an MP or two hanging around.

These investors stand to make between £50,000 and £60,000 each, although this is not the first film that the celebrity fund has made money from.

Most recently the fund made money on Die Hard 4.0, Hairspray and X Men Origins: Wolverine.
