The management of Sky Sports has confirmed that at some point during the next Premier League season, the broadcaster will be making live matches available in glorious 3D on the new Sky 3D Channel.
But in order for fans to get closer to their favourite football team than they ever have before without actually being at the match, viewers will need to replace their television with a 3D Ready version, get some polarised 3D Glasses and have a Sky+ HD set top box.
It is said that the experience will be breathtaking for fans ready for Premier League football action in 3D, but as with all new tech, the final decision will be down to the consumer, although after spending all of that cash are they really going to say that 3D TV is rubbish?
