BSkyB signs betting deal with Iovation

The betting and gaming division of BSkyB has come to an agreement with online fraud protection company, Iovation, which will see the company’s services rolled out across the satellite TV firm’s betting sites.

Sky Betting and Gaming is the umbrella for Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Vegas and Sky Bingo.

Iovation will be implemented across these channels in order to cut back on abuse, fraud, charge backs and to ensure compliance across the portfolio.

Iovation’s Reputation Manager will give Sky Betting and Gaming the ability to reduce fraud.

This works in favour of players as they are able to play in confidence and is good for the company too as preventing losses through fraud means increased profits, as well as the creation of a safe and secure gaming area.
