For as long as anyone can remember the issue of the TV Licence has been a hot topic and yet despite many people being brought up with the government scaring people into paying by having TV Detector vans driving around, some homes still did not get a licence.
The problem of TV License evasion is still around and one of the regions with a poor record for households without a licence is Belfast in Northern Ireland.
Last year in Northern Ireland there were twenty thousand cases where households were caught for not having a TV Licence and the place with the highest amount of TV Licence evaders happens to be the capital of the region, Belfast.
With around 6,500 household found without a TV Licence, this could mean a court appearance and a fine of up to £1,000, something that makes evading the fee, pointless.
