Real life soap to replace BB

Has Big Brother aired on Channel Four for the last time?

Some industry experts believe that Channel Four is looking to move on from the show and, in order to do so, is looking to commission some new and exciting content.

It seems that reality TV is the key and the recent success of the Family and other fly on the wall documentaries could be one direction from which the channel could replace the Big Brother series.

One such programme could be the new, real life series called Notting Hill, which will follow the lives of ten characters that live and work around the area.

The programme will be filmed in real time and broadcast within a couple of days of filming.

This allows the viewer to associate with what is going on in front of them.
