BBC Canvas decision any time now

The consultations by the BBC Trust into the multi channel joint venture, Project Canvas, have come to a close.

All the arguments for and against have been heard, so it is just a matter of time now before the BBC Trust makes its final decision on the IPTV project.

It was only a few weeks ago when the BBC Trust gave provisional approval for the Project to go ahead, although there were some conditions put in place that relate to costs and how the service fits in with other businesses.

Internet TV is growing, although for a long time it was stagnant probably due to slow broadband speeds.

But now these are on the rise, watching TV over the internet is a real prospect and therefore Project Canvas needs to be out there soon.
