Continuing problems with Apple’s 27 inch iMacs
by Darren Allan

Apple customers are still experiencing delays on the shipment of the problematic 27 inch iMac.
PC Pro reports that customers are currently facing a two week hold up, should they want the iMac with serious screen real-estate.
The computer has been hit by display related snags since its launch last year, including problems with flickering screens and a yellow tint to the LCD panel.
Gizmodo reportedly got hold of an internal Apple memo, which says that customers should be told that a “slight colour variability” on an LCD panel is normal.
However, the memo goes on to state: “Customers who require an immediate resolution should be offered a refund.”
For its part, Apple says that strong demand is causing shortages and difficulties with the shipping of the iMac.

Apple service is normally excellent, I’ve had a couple of problems sorted quite quickly. Lets hope they get this sorted because the 27 inch iMac is a pleasure to view!
