The free to view satellite broadcaster Freesat has begun to show the six nations rugby tournament in high definition.
This comes through the BBC HD channel and can easily be accessed by the consumer purchasing a Freesat set top box or Freesat enabled TV.
The tournament will be played around the six nations of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales and the event continues until the 20th March.
Freesat owners will also be able to catch other sporting events, such the FA Cup, Football World Cup, Golf Masters, UEFA Champions League, Wimbledon and the Winter Olympics.
Freesat set top boxes have a starting price tag of around £250, but the consumer will also require a fully operational satellite dish and wiring in order for them to pick up these services for free.
