Gloucestershire homes given switchover warning
by David Allen

Household across the Gloucestershire region are being advised to get ready for the digital switchover because within two months the region will become completely digital and the old analogue signal will have been switched off.
As normal the digital switchover will take place in stages, the first of which will start on the 24th March when BBC2 will be switched off and removed from the analogue signal.
This is the first sign to householders that analogue is about to disappear.
The second and final stage will take place on the 7th April, which is when the entire analogue signal will be permanently switched off, and once this has happened householders will need a digital TV service from either Freeview, Freesat or BSkyB in order to continue watching their favourite TV shows.
