Samsung reveals LTE netbook

Darren Allan

As well as its new Wave smartphone, Samsung has produced a netbook from out of its hat this morning.

It’s actually a new version of the company’s N150, but with one big difference – the addition of an LTE modem, a world first for a netbook.

LTE, or Long Term Evolution technology, offers super-quick mobile broadband, and is also known as 4G.

Of course, it’s a bit pointless at the moment, as you’ll need the 4G network to go with this little fellow.

However, when access to that is available in this country, expected surfing speeds will be around ten times as fast as existing 3G mobile broadband.

The N150′s other specs include a 10 inch display, and a 1.66GHz Intel atom processor.
