HTC Legend smartphone announced

Details of the Legend phone were leaked onto the net back in December, but now HTC has officially confirmed the device.

And it’s quite similar to the HTC Hero, but beefier in some aspects.

The HTC Legend has a 3.2 inch touchscreen, like the Hero, but it’s a slicker looking AMOLED affair.

It’s also slightly more compact than the Hero, and with a 600MHz processor, it’s a bit nippier too.

The Legend also has an optical trackpad, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, and it runs Android 2.1.

Expect the Legend to be wowing HTC fans come early spring.
