Working Title back in TV business

The film production company that came up with hits such as Four Weddings and a Funeral and that single girl known as Bridget Jones, is to get back into the TV business.

Working Title Television (WTTV) is part of a joint venture with the US based NBC Universal.

The TV division has been around since 1984 but, for one reason or another, the company left the UK market.

But now it seems a return is on the cards.

The UK TV production market is about to get another big player and it has been ordered to come up with comedy and drama projects that are suitable for both the UK and US markets.

One of the first WTTV projects will be Love Bites, created by one of the writers from Sex and the City.
