It would seem that the prospect of iTelevsion turning up as the Apple Store anytime soon has been kicked into touch by Apple’s chief operating officer, Tim Cook.
In fact, according to the COO of Apple, the television project Apple TV is nothing more than just a hobby for the company while it concentrates on maximising the potential from the latest mobile devices.
Tim Cook did concede that there is something in Apple TV, which would suggest that the company will be continuing with the development of the product but since its launch in 2007, the product, which downloads content from iTunes and plays it back on a HD Ready TV, has just been drifting along.
It is understandable that Apple would concentrate on mobile devices since this is where the company has invested heavily and it needs to see a return on that investment.
