The terrestrial TV channel Five has announced that is has signed an agreement with the US based TV network CBS.
The deal will mean that the channel’s video on demand service, TV.com, will be able to provide Five’s content such as Neighbours, Home and Away and the UK’s own The Gadget Show.
TV.com users will be able to access the content through the site to catch up with shows that have been aired on Five, as well as having access to the site’s content library of around two hundred and fifty hours worth of TV shows.
The on demand service is free to use as it is supported by advertising, including advertising in the middle of the show.
Viewers from the UK can access the site as TV.com enters the already competitive VoD market.
