Hardly a day goes past without a mention of 3D HDTV technology and how it is set to change the home entertainment industry forever.
However, so far there are not many signs of 3D HDTV technology appearing in the stores.
It seems that the 3D HDTV rush will start off slower than first predicted and rise steeply to the point where almost eighty million units will have been sold globally by 2015!
So far the predicted sales for 3D HDTV equipment are estimated to be in the region of 4.2 million units for this year, although this figure is being revised over and over again.
The excitement created by the 3D HDTV demos at the CES 2010 appears to have dropped considerably as moves to make 3D HDTV a reality appear to be happening a lot slower than expected.
