Magnolia Pictures and Shorts International are teaming up to offer these Oscar nominated short films on demand.

So far, only US based providers such as Bright House Networks, Comcast, Cox Communications and Time Warner Cable have agreed to carry these shorts on demand.

These platforms have come up with a pricing plan of $2.99 to $5.99.

There is a UK interest in this category which comes in the shape of Nick Park and his film “A Matter of Loaf and Death”.
