Samsung 3D TVs launching soon

Samsung will be launching its version of the 3D television by the end of the month in the UK.

The Korea-based firm confirmed the launch of the televisions and Blu-ray devices well in time for the start of the UK’s only 3D Channel from BSkyB.

The company has joined forces with the DreamWorks Studio to include a copy of the studio’s latest film to be released in 3D, Monsters Vs Aliens.

Although actual pricing has not been established yet, it is believed that the Samsung range of 3D televisions will have a starting price of around £2,000.

This is in line with the 3D televisions from Sony.

However, buyers of the Samsung product can expect to find two pairs of 3D glasses in with the TV, unlike some other manufacturers.
