As from the 13th April, subscribers to Virgin Media cable television will be able to see the Sci-Fi Channel in HD, following the cable firm’s agreement with the owners of the Sci-Fi Channel, Universal Networks International.
This will mean that subscribers to the Virgin Media XL TV service will be getting to see the newly made V and other shows in beautiful high definition at no extra charge.
The arrangement means that six HD channels will have been added to the Virgin Media network this year and brings the total channels available in high definition to twelve on the cable TV service.
According to Virgin Media’s executive director of digital entertainment, Cindy Rose, the network will continue to add HD content to the service.
All of these channels are available on the XL service at no extra charge.
