The rise of 3D television and film is almost unstoppable now, and so it is down to other parts of the industry to get their collective acts together and produce equipment that also offers the 3D experience.
This is where NVIDIA has stepped in, with a new app that is supposed to bring the world of 3D gaming to a television in the gamer’s home.
Sounds like a good idea, so what is involved?
The NVIDIA 3DTV Play software allows the user to play games, watch TV and even surf the internet, all in glorious 3D.
Currently, in the US, NVIDIA has teamed up with Panasonic to present a series of road shows to demonstrate how 3DTV actually works.
The software itself only costs around £30, but it’s not going to be that simple, as other equipment is bound to be needed.
