Shake up at Sky TV

There is a major restructure happening within the satellite broadcaster BSkyB, with changes affecting staff, content, online and marketing taking place.

One of the main people to leave BSkyB will be the commercial director Stephen Nuttall, who co founded Sportal.com and has been responsible for many of the firm’s developments within the digital market, including the Sky Planner and Sky Mobile TV.

As a result of these changes the company will be launching a new division.

Aptly named the product development and design group, this new entity within the business will take on responsibility for the advancement of initiatives involving TV, Broadband, web and mobile services.

This new division will be run by Alun Webber who in turn will report directly to the chief operating officer of Sky, Mike Darcey.
