With 3D television being the subject of so much news and media interest, the infrastructure behind the technology seems to be missing out in favour of big stories covering Sky TV’s launch of its 3D TV service.
But there are other businesses within the industry that are making progress too and one such firm is Technicolor.
This company has become one of the first independent broadcast service to launch a ready-to-use 3D platform from its base in Chiswick, London.
Technicolor will be able to offer post production services via satellite, IPTV and cable distribution as well as creating channel logos and other visible special effects designed specifically for the 3D TV industry.
The company is also able to provide clients with a wide range of cost effective 3D TV services.
