Orange TV to go 3D in May

“

The France-based online TV provider, Orange TV, has confirmed that it will begin to broadcast a 3D TV Channel within the coming weeks.

It is expected that Orange TV will launch a dedicated 3D TV Channel that will just show content that has been produced in 3D!

It is a similar channel to BSkyB’s own Sky 3D Channel, although this one is readily available to households until later on this year.

It is believed that Orange TV will be launching the 3D channel in time for the Roland Garros Tennis Tournament in May, but once the tournament is over the channel will offer a variety of 3D programming.

As with other 3D Channels, the viewer will need to purchase a new 3D Ready TV, complete with 3D glasses too.
