Samsung takes advertising to a new dimension

When it comes to 3D television, it seems that Samsung is prepared to put its money where its mouth is, with the launch of an £8m advertising campaign to promote the new product.

The first Samsung 3D LED television is due in the stores on the 27th April and the advertising will begin on the 28th April during the coverage of the Champions League semi final between Barcelona and Inter Milan, on ITV1.

The advert looks like it is going to be a spectacular with around 1,256 televisions and an eighty one strong crew taking part in the production.

This is a huge production which demonstrates that the company is taking 3D technology seriously.

The campaign is set to last three months and will be supported by press and online advertising too.
