RIM unhappy with Apple Conference reference

July 20, 2010

During the Steve Jobs Show on Friday night, so many points were covered that the analysing has only just begun to pump out its conclusions.

However, quick off the mark is RIM, the maker of the Blackberry device, which has taken exception to the references made by Steve Jobs with regards to the signal reception received by the Blackberry Bold 9700, which is said to suffer from similar issues to the iPhone 4.

Apple attempted to take the pressure off the iPhone 4 by highlighting the issues that occur in other smartphones, such as the Blackberry Bold, Samsung Omnia and the HTC Droid Eris.

However, RIM has come out fighting, claiming that Apple is trying to justify the problem rather than admit that there is one.

Typical of apple to not admit its mistakes. Own up and shut up. If you are buying Apple you are paying a premium for a good looking QUALITY product.

Simply saying “this other phone has same problems” is not good enough.
