Smartphones are hugely popular amongst certain users in the UK.
With unlimited data usage, surfing the internet and checking emails while on the move is a breeze and all within the monthly subscription.
However, there is a huge part of the market missing out on mobile web browsing but not for much longer, as Virgin Media is looking to tempt pay-as-you-go customers with free web access for six months.
Buyers of the VM800 a handset made by Alcatel, will get a QWERTY style keyboard, up to 4 GB of micro SD card storage and much more.
However, what is interesting is the cost.
The device is £40 and the consumer has to pay £10 talktime, but will get 300 free SMSs and six months web surfing. FUP applies!
