Digital TV for the Channel Islands

As the digital switchover works its way around the UK, some of the more fringe areas such as the Channel Islands, are being visited by the people from the digital switchover help scheme, who are on hand to help out those people eligible for assistance under the scheme.

Currently the scheme will assist people over seventy five or those with a disability.

In most cases they will receive a letter informing them of the changes that are about to happen and how they can be helped.

On the 17^th November all analogue signals on the islands will come to and end and this means that all household will need some sort of digital TV equipment such as Freeview or Freesat.
