Orange and T-Mobile to offer joint network coverage

The partnership between Orange and T-Mobile in the UK, under the Everything Everywhere banner, is about to offer a big bonus to customers on their networks.

From next month, users will be able to roam across both freely. In other words, when Orange customers can’t get a signal, they’ll be able to switch to T-Mobile if that has a signal in the area.

Furthermore, in the future, Everything Everywhere is planning to automate the network switching process, meaning your phone will switch to whichever is the strongest signal in any given area. That feature should be introduced at some point early next year, according to Know Your Mobile.

This will all be very welcome news for Orange customers, no doubt, who have been having a troubled time of network outages over the past few weeks.
