Jolibook now on sale at Amazon

The Jolibook netbook is now available to order at online retailer Amazon in the UK.

It’s priced up at the expected and previously announced price point of £279.99. For that money, you get a 10 inch display, 1.5GHz dual-core Intel Atom N550 processor, and a 250GB hard disk, although the Jolicloud 1.1 operating system runs in the cloud (as the name suggests).

Other tech specs include 1GB of system memory, an Intel GMA 3150 graphics solution, and stereo speakers. The netbook also has a claimed battery life of up to seven hours.

According to the product spiel, the Jolibook “offers a clean and simple experience centred around the web, social networking, videos, games and music, and has been designed for people who want the best experience without the hassle.”

Jolliness, however, is not guaranteed for owners. Or at least we don’t think it is, anyway.
