Nexus One prepares for Gingerbread man

As the Nexus S is unleashed, owners of the original Nexus One can comfort themselves with the knowledge that they too will taste Gingerbread soon enough.

For the Android 2.3 operating system will be delivered to the Nexus One in a matter of weeks, according to the Google Nexus Twitter account.

Yesterday, Google tweeted: “The Gingerbread OTA for Nexus One will happen in the coming weeks. Just hang tight!”

So, we’re guessing late January for the update. Meanwhile, keep hanging tight.
