LG Optimus 2X now launching in March?

Darren Allan

Last week, we reported about online retailer eXpansys putting the LG Optimus 2X up with a February 21st release date.

We thought that might have been optimistic, and indeed it seems that way, with the retailer now having revised the date to March 18th.

The dual-core smartphone costs £500 sim-free, although eXpansys has now put some Vodafone tariffs up.

The 2X starts from £30.65 per month with the handset coming free, and that includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 500MB of Internet. Oh, and a phone car mounting kit and universal charger thrown in for free.

The Android powered Optimus 2X comes with an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor, 4 inch WVGA display, an 8 megapixel camera along with a 1.3 megapixel front-facer for video chats, and 8GB of memory (expandable by 32GB via microSD).
