Queen wants an iPad

Apparently the legion of well-known Apple fans which consist of celebs such as Stephen Fry are about to receive royalty into their ranks.

The Queen rather likes the iPad, after having been shown the Apple slate by William and Harry, the Sun reports. And she’s ordered one of the tablets as a result.

A royal inside told the newspaper: “She was particularly taken with how easy it was to use, the large screen and how light it was.”

And apparently: “The Princes think it is hilarious. They love the fact that their gran wants an iPad and think she’s really cool.”

The Queen is already the proud owner of a couple of iPods, one of which was presented to her by Barack Obama.
