HTC is apparently set to continue its current practice of rubbish names for phones after the likes of the ChaCha and Salsa were christened.
The latest woeful moniker to pop up is the HTC Holiday, although this is only a codename for the handset which has had its spec sheet spilled on the net. There’s plenty of time to change it to something more appropriate (like the HTC BBQ Sauce) yet.
Those specifications include a whopping 4.5 inch qHD display, a 1.2GHz dual-core engine, an 8 megapixel camera and a front-facer for video chats. It’ll run Android Gingerbread, at least according to the source of this leak, 911 Sniper blog (via Fone Home).
HTC has already wheeled out phones of this sort of calibre such as the Sensation, although none with quite that large a screen. Could this be the ultimate partner for the HTC Watch movie streaming service, at least if you aren’t hooking it up to your HDTV?
