This sleek stand and keyboard creates a new way to use your iPad: placing your iPad onto the stand turns it into a realistic mini iMac.

Like the real iMac, the iPad can connect to a keyboard via Bluetooth making typing large pieces of text super easy.

The build quality and design is stylish. Its main body is made of solid steel, which has a lovely shiny metal finish.

Where the iPad holder is connected to the main body there is a 3/4” steel ball pivot which allows the iPad to be rotated 80 degrees, left to right and forwards to back.

Having a split back, anti-slip and non-skid feet, and protective padding on the iPad holder it’s definitely one of the most stable iPad stands in the market.

The Stabile Pro stand is available in three colours: silver, white or black.

Weighing 4lbs the stand is very steady. The Stabile Pro stand is compatible with both the iPad and iPad 2 even with their cases on and also works in landscape and portrait mode.

Costing $84.99 (about £50) it’s a little on the expensive side and you’ll need to add your own wireless keyword.

However if you enjoy using your iPad frequently at home instead of a laptop or desktop this is an accessory worth considering.

Moreover it’s not only practical, but should look quite striking on any desk.
