A special anniversary edition of the popular Elder Scrolls IV game will be released this Friday, ahead of the fifth instalment in the series, Skyrim.
ES IV: Oblivion was previously released to very positive reviews, and will now be available with a host of extras to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the game.
The extras include a bunch of DLC including two expansions, a map of the game world and a CD that contains even more bonus material.
PS3 and Xbox 360 gamers can pick up a copy for £19.99, whilst those who prefer PC gaming can purchase the game for £14.99.
Oblivion is known for its significant size and depth, and it may not actually be possible to complete the game (again?) before the release of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is set to be unleashed on November 11th.
Publisher Bethesda has given a full list of the contents of the special edition of Oblivion, aside from the game itself, obviously:
- Knights of the Nine: A fallen King has been unchained from the darkness of Oblivion to seek vengeance upon the Gods who banished him. Only a champion pure of heart can vanquish the evil that has been released.
- Shivering Isles: Enter the torn realm of Sheogorath – a world where Mania and Dementia reign. Do you have the strength to survive his trials, to tame a realm fraught with paranoia and despair, and wear the mantle of a God?
- Oblivion Game Map: A full-colour map of Cyrodiil and the Shivering Isles.
- A bonus disc: Featuring a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Oblivion.
