FIFA 13 is still number one in the UK all-format chart (as compiled by Chart Track), for the third week running.
And that’s despite a strong challenge from Bethesda’s Dishonored, which has seen many positive reviews, but came in as a new entry at number two.
Even so, Dishonored still managed to grab the title of the best-selling new intellectual property this year, snatching that away from Sleeping Dogs.
There were several new entries in the chart this week, as the games season really starts to kick in, with Pokemon Black Version 2 coming in at number three, and Pokemon White Version 2 at number five (though Dishonored outsold both of these versions combined).
Sandwiched between those two Pokemon games was Resident Evil 6, which slipped from number two.
Just Dance 4 was at number six, followed by another new entry, the XCOM: Enemy Unknown reboot which brings a shooter slant to a classic strategy game.
Borderlands 2 dropped five places to number eight, followed by F1 2012, and finally Skyrim rounding out the top ten.
WRC 3: FIA World Rally Championship was another new entry, but only made it to number twenty-seven, and Microsoft’s Kinect Fable game, Fable: The Journey, barely made it into the top forty, reaching number thirty-seven.
