Carphone Warehouse has announced the price of its contracts for the new Nokia Lumia 820, and has put the handset on pre-order.
So the Inquirer spotted, but oddly enough, the Lumia 820 page on the Carphone Warehouse site doesn’t seem to be working this morning – perhaps a temporary fault.
At the moment you can find the handset by searching the site, and it does indeed show the Lumia 820 as starting from £29 per month on its tariffs. The sim-free price is £380.
However, if you click through to pre-order your smartphone, you get a page not found error. Which is certainly a bit strange. Anyway, we’d imagine the page will be working again soon enough.
The Lumia 820 is a Windows Phone 8 handset, the next model down from Nokia’s flagship Lumia 920, and it goes on sale next Wednesday.
The device boasts a 4.3 inch OLED screen featuring a resolution of 800 x 480. It’s powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, with 8GB of memory, an 8 megapixel camera (with dual LED flash), and the 820 also has a plain VGA front-facing camera.
