IPTV Reaches For Heaven

IPTV is about to be a little closer to heaven. Dominion Video Satellite, Inc. is planning to release its family friendly broadcasting – aptly named Sky Angel – via broadband internet protocol.

The technology of IPTV is already widely used through out the world, especially in areas like Europe and Asia. By using the internet, the Sky Angel service will be more readily available and more economical.

Recent studies have shown that many subscribers would change from conventional television to IPTV if the same programming were available. The use of IPTV would allow subscribers access to their favorite shows through personal computers or handheld devices. The shows could be watched from anywhere – at home or on the go.

Dominion Video Satellite, Inc. is looking to IPTV to provide a better and more reliable service for its subscribers and for its family of employees. It is also hoping that this will open up an even more diverse range of Christian broadcasting.

IPTV is not only the technological wave of the future. It is a more economical way to deliver broadcasts. Sky Angel, which was founded over 25 years ago, has been facing the monetary problems of aging and damaged satellites. This internet based delivery is the answer for which it has been searching.
