No talkback comes from a eurovox, you should at least get basic tv subs or bb internet that way you are at least contributing something to the cc and this will insure they dont cut you off outside...

I have spoken to a virgin engineer today and he tels me once telewest/eurobell/virgin have drilled the hole in your wall to your house it is against the law for them to cut you off from outside, all they are allowed to do is switch your connection off from the little green box down the road,he also told me there is no need to suscribe to and tv package because you will still recieve all the channels even with no subscription

If they disconnect you from the little green box down the road doesnt that constitute being cut off from outside m8 ??? and he is talking **** they could cut the cable as it enters your garden and remove it all the way back to the cabinet/streetpit if they wanted to. if your not a customer and they suspect you of fraud they have no reason to leave you hooked up to their network especially if you dont pay them any cash for either TV, phone or internet.

its when they start doing cabinet audits they will disconnect non subscribers. Cable co's have not had the money to spend sending engineers out o do audits for a few years, but now things are picking back up again financially i would expect it to happen again very soon.
my point is not that you cant get away with it, it was more to do with what they can do to a suspect cable feed. |
