Default old sky dish and box

hi,
is it possible to receive astra 1 and hotbird through an out of contract sky box and minidish with adjust of the dish?

Using the minidish yes.

using the old Sky box, possible but really not worth the effort. A Sky box is just shy of useless on other satellites.

hi,
What satellite receiver would you recommend i dont really want to spend loads ive been looking at the silvercrest sl 45 and the technomate 5200 ideally i just want something that will do the job.

it depends on what you mean do the job
do you want it just for free to air or pay chnls.?
