got a mates sony vaio

on boot up getting a bios password

tried all the ones about, but been told is a master one somewhere, but all i can find is a company on ebay asking for £15 for one

if you cant get help here then try this site it has a lot of sw on it for stuff like that -http://www.thepirateschest.net/ i have never used it but saw the stuff, if you have a look it may help you..

I would have thought the easy way out is to ask your mate.

Its the first password you put on it. I think when you register it and the sony site warns you at the time that you will be charged to get a new one!

Surely your mate can remember?
