Default cant find an answer

hi i was wondering if anyone can help.i have an sb5100 with sigma-x v 1.06 rc4 beta1 flashed on it. i got a working 10meg mac that has stayed on for a while but i keep losing the connection every 5 or 10 mins. it goes from 10 meg for say 10 mins then to 0 ( no connectivity) for about 5 mins or so... then back to 10meg and it does this all the time i have tried several but they all do the same. was just wondering if i need to update my flash or is there a setting i need to adjust i put the command below in to enable docsis 1.0 but it made no difference

cd non-vol
cd docsis
bpi_version 0
write

if anyone can help i would sure appreciate it. i have read many posts before writing and posting my own but if i have missed the answer i do apologise i also have tried to explain my problem best that i can.

thanks
