Hi All, great site!! My Eurovox ex 1100 has several channels that are now scrambled. i have re scanned several times but the same channels stay the same. eg. Discovery channel says scrambled but Discovery +1 works.

p.s. Stoke on trent area

any advice would be great.

Thanks Imr4n but to be honest i have searched and it's so confusing...... down load this, install firmware, need to down load a programme to open firmware???? WTF? lol

I am of the opinion that at some time in the near future there will be an alternative, the best thing now is for VM to switch everything over to their new N3 encryption system, then and only then will the geniuses out there know the problems that need to be overcome?

But until such, it’s time to cough a few dollars either Rupe or Rick’s way!

Trouble is, N3 isn't new by any means. It has been used succesfully in America and Europe for years with no sign of it being broken any time soon. Subscribe or go the Card Sharing route.
